2023 MLB Draft updates: Live pick tracker, results for first round
The 2023 MLB Draft begins on Sunday with the first 70 picks over two rounds and compensatory selections.
Vanderbilt and Tennessee baseball each have a player likely to be selected in the first round. Vandy outfielder Enrique Bradfield Jr. has been mocked anywhere from the top 10 through the end of the round, while Tennessee pitcher Chase Dollander has similar prospects.
Nolensville High School pitcher and Vanderbilt commitment Ethan McElvain is also expected to be selected sometime on Sunday or Monday. The left-hander is ranked No. 106 in MLB.com's draft rankings.
